Joan M. N, Bradley, teacher

Joan Marie Nicoletti Bradley, 58, of Chestnut Hill, an elementary school teacher, died June 12 of cancer at Abington Hospice.

Mrs. Bradley, one of seven children of the late Col. Louis J. and Rhoe Nicoletti, of Chestnut Hill, had taught at Shady Grove Elementary School in Blue Bell until her illness. Earlier she had taught at Myers Elementary School in Elkins Park.

She was a graduate of Our Mother of Consolation Parish School and Cardinal Dougherty High School. She received a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in education from Chestnut Hill College.

Mrs. Bradley is survived by sons Jesse Bradley and Nicholas Bradley; sisters Lois Nicoletti, of Ellicott City, Md., Pamela McCullough, of Haddonfield, N.J., Kathy Fazzina, of Wyndmoor, and Gail Nicoletti, of Nazareth, Pa.; and brothers Geoff Nicoletti, of Willow Grove, and Richard Nicoletti, of Petersham, Mass.

A life celebration service and potluck-style picnic will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 23, in Pastorius Park, Chestnut Hill. All family friends and colleagues are welcome to attend and asked to bring a lawn chair.

Memorial donations may be made to the Abington Hospice, 1200 Old York Road, Abington, PA 19001. – WF
